I'm The Alternative

【Day 221】

Mihaya likes her mum the best. 

She wants to play cards, study, read books, and sleep with her mum everyday. But my wife has been extremely busy recently and come back home quite late, so almost every day Mihaya can't do that.

Then she starts crying loudly every day. She complaints like "You promised me to play with me!"

So I try to make her calm down, I tell her that I can play with you. But she isn't really happy with it. 

But after my wife goes to the bed as soon as she takes a shower, Mihaya gives up her mother and asks me to play.

That makes me a sort of bittersweet feeling which is like I'm the alternative to my wife.

Anyway, during playing with her she snuggles up to me, that's a happy moment for me. I wonder when she stops doing that...
