The Winter Swell
29/5/2021 Sat.
【Day 436】
It has been getting chiller day by day these days, especially in the morning. I couldn't help wearing the anorak jacket for the first time this season.
The huge swell from the south was marching through the east coast this morning, so I gave up surfing and went to Bronte beach to just see how were waves there.
To be honest, the waves weren’t that bigger than I thought. But watching a lot of water moving was still scary. It ended up that I saw only two surfers there.
After that, we had acai bowls as brunch at Bowled Out.
While spending time in the eastern suburbs, Tokky sent me a message that told me waves in Manly were excellent because the beach was protected from the dead south swell.
I think the swell would be much calmer tomorrow and in a good shape, so I’m going to surf at Manly tomorrow morning.
