【Day 427】

I got the notification that told me "It's ON!" from WSL. That meant the Rip curl Rottnest Serch was going to be run today.

It seemed like that the event for today started with women's heat.

I knew that in heat 16, Amuro Tsuzuki, the first Japanese woman surfer who surfs in the Championship Tour ever was going to be in the water.

But, I wanted to surf in Curl Curl where the waves looked very good today, and I thought I could watch Amuro's heat live after surfing.

However, it turned out to be the overwrapping heat format today, so her heat ended when I got out of the water.

When I knew that she beat Courtney Conlogue, one of the best women surfers in the world with her excellent score, I really thought that I should’ve stayed at home and watched her heat live.

Anyway, that was definitely the historical moment. She will be showing up on finals day!
