【Day 425】

Natsumo and Minori had the English speech at school today.

Both of them were quite nervous recently because this was the first time for them to speak out loud in English in front of a lot of people. 

Their speech time seemed to be more than two minutes each, I thought it was pretty long. Even I couldn’t make it two minutes when I took the IELTS speaking test which required me to make speak about some topic for more than two minutes in task 2.

Natsumo was required to speak about the Apin massacre, which was a sort of historical topic in Australia. Minori chose the topic "The place I can call home." in which she mentioned homeless people.

I was impressed by them because they spoke in English quite well when I heard they were practicing.

Actually, this was the first time for me to hear them speak English.

It felt like their improvements started to appear finally.
