Dolphins Surfed

【Day 420】
I surfed at Curl Curl (also known as Ethan's Point, it might work only for me though) this morning.
The solid swell mainly from the South and occasionally from the East, the wave size was consistently head-high to two to three-foot overhead.
However, it wasn’t so crowded out there and that’s why I like Curly.
When I surfed for about one hour, I realized that there were a lot of fins far outside. I was wondering if they were sharks because the color of the fins was light grey which looked like great whites.
But the fins moved vertically, so I could tell they were definitely dolphins.
I believed there were at least ten dolphins out there, and they were swimming back and forth between the South and the north.
Then, suddenly they swam towards the shore and surprisingly, started surfing with human surfers.
I had watched dolphins surfing on some videos, but this was the first time to watch them live myself, it was only ten meters away from me!
That was an absolutely breathtaking moment. Their swimming speed was just unbelievable and I was a bit freaked out by their huge jumps near me.
I really wished I had had GoPro at that moment, don’t I?
