I went to the dentist in the city this morning.

Dr. Hocking was so good at speaking Japanese that I could tell him about my situation correctly.

It was worse than I thought. The nerve in one of the anterior tooth was dead and inflamed, so I had to take some antibiotics right away. I need to be treated to denervate the tooth next week.

Today's cost was 85 dollars at the insured price for taking an x-ray and the medicine, which was relatively cheaper than I thought. So I was relieved a bit.

But when I got the estimation for the whole treatment, I couldn't stop regretting I hadn't taken good care of my teeth.

2,000 dollars for fixing two teeth, what a ridiculously expensive price it is!

Even if it was the price before the insurance applied, it would be almost ten times more expensive than the price in Japan.
