My wife seemed to be confident enough to drive so she took Minori and Mihaya to the swimming school at Lane Cove this morning.

I didn’t need to take my daughters so I could go surfing, unusually.

One of my surf friends Masashi picked me up at 5 am and we headed to Palm Beach.

The size of waves was shoulder-high to occasionally head-high but it’s hard to catch one unless I was in the right place to take off as there were packed with surfers there.

Even though there wasn’t an authentic one, I could be satisfied only by being in the water.

After that, I joined my wife and my kids at Manly.

The beach was packed with people who enjoy freedom.

We sat down at the steps right front of the beach and ate acai bowls, almond croissants, and a meat pie. That’s what I was saying.

I felt everything can get back to normal soon.
