Dee Why Is Beautiful

Dee Why beach is a beautiful place. It's relatively more cozy than Manly but there are a lot of good cafes and restaurants along the beach. And of course, waves are good as well.

Today I had a surf session with Tomoyuki at Dee Why. The head-high to double over-head size waves were quite powerful. This might be the first time to ride such a decent wave since I moved over here in Sydney.

It was a kind of point break and there were so many local surfers out there but I could catch more than 10 waves in a one and half hour.

A local woman surfer told me I was lucky. Yes, definitely I was lucky!

What I was surprised was that Sushi Nara, the Japanese sushi izakaya restaurant that Tomoyuki runs was selected as one of the exclusive restaurants that are responsible for catering that serves a meal to CT surfers and stakeholders during the WSL event at Narrabeen. That must be a huge moment for Tomoyuki.

He told me that he might hire some temporary staff for that. So I'm thinking of running for it.
