Surfing With Dolphins

【Day 248】

Tockey came to pick me up at 3:50 am this morning. I hadn't woke up such early in the morning, so I was worried if I would be able to wake up. But I could do it.

We drove up to Palm Beach where is the north end of Northern Beaches. We arrived there at 4:50 and the first light came at 7 minutes past 5 am.

Waves were not so big but looked ridable.

While we checked waves, some surfers came there and they are all Japanese.

When we paddled out, the strong west wind started blowing and it's a bit hard to catch waves.

I wouldn't say the waves were excellent, but I could see 4 dolphins swam near us. Tockey told me that seeing dolphins there was quite usual. This was my first time, so I was very excited.

After surf, we bought coffee at the kiosk on the beachside, then we chilled out on the grass seeing people surfing. After that, I came back home and it's still 10:30 am.

This is a kind of ideal life for me.
