【Day 550】

I got a text message from my brother telling me that my sister-in-law passed away last night due to cancer.

She had previously had surgery for thyroid cancer but recently found metastases in her lungs. From that day, it’s been too quick. She was too young to go.

It’s so tough for me since she always took care of my family.  I never be able to thank her enough.

I had never thought it would be the last time to see her in person when I went to my brother's home and had a BBQ party in the garden 2 years ago.

And I’m living in Australia, which means that now I can’t go to Japan easily whatever the reason is. I was reminded of that strongly this time.

I thought I should talk to my wife about how we manage everything if something happens to our relatives.
