It was Mihaya's birthday today. She has just turned six.

She was born a month earlier than expected and she had to be hospitalized as she was a bit too small. But now I can see she lives healthy and I feel happy.

We asked her what she wanted to eat today, and she answered so-men, natto, steamed rice topped with fresh raw egg, and miso soup. I thought It meant that she missed Japanese food.

In terms of the birthday present, her strategy was 'small and many'. She got granola made in Japan, a bottle of glue, several English books, a lunch box, note and stationary of Smikko-Gurashi made by Minori.

I hope she can live happily every day here in Australia.
