Taking An ID Photo

【Day 517】

My wife realized that it’s only 5 days away until the expiry date of Minori's passport.

Once it’s expired, it’s really troublesome to apply again, so my wife made an appointment with Japan's Consulate General to update Minori's passport.

Before that, she needed to take an ID photo for it, so I took her to the post office this arvo.

There was a long queue there as only one guy was working.

We waited for a long time and finally, I asked him to take a photo of her.

When I asked him, there were still several people waiting so he seemed to want me to come back another chance. But I needed it today, so I pushed him to do it.

When Minori prepared to take a photo, I heard an old woman on the queue said like "Why she needs the passport at the moment like now?"

I thought she wanted to mention the lockdown. But that wasn’t her busines.

However, unfortunately, she couldn’t take a photo at that time due to her too long bang.

So the staff told us to come back later, and the old lady appreciated that.

What an irony...

After all, we went back home to get Minori's hair clipped, then we could get the photo. 

I’m going to go to the Consulate in the city tomorrow.
