Powerhouse Museum

【Day 430】

I didn’t go surfing this morning as the swell seemed to be pretty weak. If I have surfed in such a condition, I would have been frustrated pretty much, in addition, I would’ve made my wife in bad mood as well.

We went to Powerhouse Museum near China Town after breakfast.

It was free to enter. In the museum, there were a lot of machines that had steam engines such as the locomotive, spinning machines that worked in the industrial revolution era, stuff like that. Many of those machines were moving actually.

I thought if Hayao Miyazaki, one of the most famous animation creators in Japan visited here, he would be really interested in it because he must like such machines. You can see so much stuff like that in his animation movies. 

After that, we hang at Darling Harbour for a while. The playground was packed with people.

If people in Japan saw the scene they would think it’s totally insane.
