Diary: I took new Challenge!! "Stand FM"

 Hi everyone, and welcome to "Rio's English Diary."
I'm Rio, and today I'm excited to share another step in my English learning.

 Firstly, Thank you, Suzumura-san, for letting me use your picture. I love the picture of the cute bunny and its forest friends.
Mmm… Cute!! I love them.

 Now, I took new challenge on something I've been wanting to do for a while: writing and reading in English.

 I'm trying to get better at English, inspired by Mimosa-san's lovely poetry and my daughter's love of learning languages.

 English has always been tough for me, both with grammar and pronunciation, but I'm determined to improve. I'm using AI to help me write better and give me feedback.

 I will also record my diary entries as a way to practice speaking English. These recordings help me track my progress, find areas to improve, and capture my thoughts and experiences in English, I thought.

 My diary.
 Yesterday, my daughter and I went to the shopping mall. She wanted to get an electric guitar instead of her acoustic one, so we went to a guitar shop.

 My daughter had fun trying out different electric guitars, but guitars were too expensive for me to buy.
 I decided to work harder so I could afford to get her one.

 Next, we went to a bookstore.
 My daughter, who is learning English in junior high school, wanted a book to help her learn more. She understands simple English words, but she has trouble pronouncing them.
 As an example, she made the mistake of pronouncing "like" as "リケ."

 But, we found a cool book that lets her scan each page with her smartphone and listen to the text being read aloud in English. I'm amazing what technology can do!

 Inspired by this, I decided to start learning English myself so I can use it in my work.

みなさん、こんにちは理生（りお）です。

私は、前々からやりたかったことを今日やってみようと行動に移しました。
それは、英語を書いて読むということです。

ミモザさんが詩の朗読をされていたので、私もやりたくなったのですが、英語の勉強も兼ねて、英語で日記を読みたいと思いました。

私は英語が苦手で、発音も同じように苦手です。
日記記事は、AIに添削してもらっています。
私の英語学習の場として、独り言のように録音しています。

また、英語を話す練習の手段として日記を記録したいと思います。録音することで、自分がどこまでできているかを確認して、改善できるところを見つけて、自分の思いや体験を英語で記録するのに役立つと思いました。

さて、日記！
昨日は娘と二人でショッピングモールに出かけました。
娘はアコースティックギターを持っているのですが、エレキギターをしたいということで楽器屋に寄りました。
ギターを試奏をして娘は嬉しそうでしたが、ギターが私には高くて買えません。
だから、私は娘に買えるように頑張って働こうと決意しました。

その後、私たちは本屋に行きました。
娘が中学１年生の英語学習の本が欲しいとのことで、購入しました。
娘は英語の単語の意味は分かるのですが、読み方が分からないからです。
例えば、"Like"のことを"リケ"と間違えて発音しました。
その本は、スマートフォンでスキャンすれば、そのページを英語で読んでくれる機能があったからです。
すごいテクノロジーの時代になったものだと私は感じました。

私も英語を少しでも勉強をして、仕事に役立てていきたいと思い、このチャレンジをはじめました。
