イスラエル交流会「Urban Farming in Israel」

コラボイベント第二弾！今回は「都市型農業」をテーマにイスラエルの学生とディスカッションしていきます。

世界的な食糧危機・都市化問題・災害時の食糧自給・食材の値上げ、特に日本では農家の高齢化など、わたしたちが抱える問題はたくさんありますが、そのひとつのソリューションとして「都市型農業」が注目されています。
今回はイスラエルからゲストスピーカーをお迎えして、なぜ今、都市型農業が必要なのか、その活動についてお話を伺います。

豊かな土地を持ちながら作物のほとんどを輸入に頼っている日本と、砂漠でも野菜を育てられるイスラエル。将来の農業の方向性について一緒に考えてみましょう。

This event is for understanding Japanese and Israeli culture and exchanging ideas with each other.
In this event, we will talk about “Urban Framing” which has been gathering attention in recent years.
It will be one of the solutions to many issues such as the global food crisis, urbanization problem, food self-sufficiency during disasters, escalating food prices, etc.
The Key speaker is Mr. Refael Lavi, the founder, and CEO of The Association For Urban Farming Israel. He will share why urban farming is needed and what the Association For Urban Farming is doing to promote demand among the public.
After the presentation, we will have a breakout room session. All attendees will be able to communicate with each other! You can also speak Japanese with the participants if you want:)
