勉強の基本は先取り学習、東京と地方の格差

地方の公立の中学校・高校に通う生徒には衝撃的な事実かもしれませんが、東京都内の超優秀な進学校の生徒は、通常のカリキュラムよりも1～2年早く進んでいます。そのため、最後の1～2年は、大学入試の問題演習に時間を割いています。

普通の公立の生徒が、開成や灘、筑駒（筑波大学付属駒場）などの生徒に勝てるわけがないのは当たり前です。

では、公立の生徒はどうすればよいのか？それは、同じように先取り学習することです。

英語は小学校3年生から学習を開始する。小学校5年生ごろから中学校レベルの国語・数学・理科・社会を勉強する。それ以外に、超進学校の生徒に勝つ方法はありません。

恐ろしいほどのハンディキャップを背負っている、その自覚を、地方の生徒は持つ必要があります。

そして、大学入学後にも、格差は待っています。晴れて、東大に入学したとしましょう。交友関係は開成・灘・筑駒などでだいたい出来上がっています。地方の公立出身者は、その中に「入れてください」という雰囲気なのです。絶望的でしょう。

就職活動においても、開成・灘・筑駒出身者は素晴らしい人的ネットワークを持っています。こうして、東大入学後も、格差が待っているのです。

地方出身者は、学力も人脈も、ものすごい差をつけられた状態でのスタートだと自覚が必要です。

私も三重県の田舎からここまで頑張ってきました。私は地方の生徒を応援します。

This may come as a shock to students attending local public junior and senior high schools, but students at super-excellent preparatory schools in Tokyo advance one to two years ahead of the regular curriculum. Therefore, in the last year or two, they spend time practicing questions for university entrance exams.

It is natural that ordinary public school students cannot beat Kaisei, Nada, Tsukukoma (Komaba attached to University of Tsukuba) and so on.

What should public school students do? It's also pre-learning.

English is learned from the third grade of elementary school. From around the fifth grade of elementary school, students study Japanese, mathematics, science, and social studies at the junior high school level. Other than that, there is no other way to beat the students of the super-advanced school.

Local students need to realize that they are carrying a terrible handicap.

And even after entering university, disparities await. Let's say you successfully enter the University of Tokyo. Students from greater tokyo area have established friendships in Kaisei, Nada, Tsukukoma, and so on. People from local public schools have an atmosphere of "please let me in". Hopeless.

People from Kaisei, Nada, and Tsukukoma also have a wonderful human network when it comes to job hunting. In this way, disparities await even after entering the University of Tokyo.

People from rural areas need to be aware that they are starting with a huge gap in terms of academic ability and personal connections.
