星の王子様「キツネの秘密」を翻訳してみた。

「さようなら。」と王子様が言った。
「うん、さようなら。」とキツネも言った。

「最後にぼくの秘密を教えてあげる。」

「とても単純だよ。それはね、大事なことは目に見えないってことなんだ。大事なことは心で見るんだよ。」
「大事なことは目に見えない。心で見る。」
王子様は忘れないように、キツネの言ったことを繰り返した。

「あの薔薇に費やした時間が、ただの薔薇を君の薔薇にしたんだよ。君だけの薔薇にね。」
とキツネが言った。

「あの薔薇に費やした時間が、ただの薔薇をぼくの薔薇にしたんだ。僕だけの薔薇に。」
王子様は忘れないように、キツネの言ったことを繰り返した。

「みんな、大切なことを忘れちゃったんだ。」
キツネが言った。

「でも君は忘れないで。何かをなつかせたら、君には永遠に責任がついてくる。」

「君は、あの薔薇の責任者なんだよ。」
「僕は、あの薔薇の責任者だ。」

王子様は絶対に。
絶対に忘れないようにキツネの言ったことを繰り返した。

“Do you want to hear my secret? It is very simple. The important things in life you cannot see with your eyes, only with your hart”

The fox said “ It is the time you gave to your rose that makes her so important to you”
“It is the time I gave my rose…” said the little prince so as to remember it well.
“People have forgotten this truth” the fox said.
“ But you must not forget it. You have to be responsible forever for what you have tamed. You are responsible for your rose”
“I am responsible for my rose…” the little prince repeated, so as never to forget it.
