【オーストラリア購入記】Yona Cardboard Bed
こっちでの生活も少しずつ落ち着いてきたので、お客さん用のソファーベッドから新しいベッドを買うことに決めました。
生まれてからほとんどを実家で過ごしてきた私ですが、実は家具やインテリアなどほとんど自分で買ったことがありません…！いつか一人暮らししたら…と思っていたのですが、気づけは結婚し突然の２人暮らし（同居人含めて３人）から始まりました。笑

さて、ベッド一式ともなれば、それなりに費用もかかるし、どこかに引越すとなった時に移動が大変ですよね。
そんな時に見つけたのが『Yona』のダンボールベッド！
これ本当に私たちにぴったりの条件で驚いたのですが、まずはYonaはオーストラリアの会社で、オーストラリアで再利用された資源を使用していること。さらに、設置も簡単で安く、不要になった場合はダンボールごみとしてそのままリサイクルできます。そして、ウェブサイトが素敵でみやすい（ここ結構重要だったりする）
ベッド枠＋マットレス＋掛け布団＋枕＋シーツ類だけでも軽く10万円は超えるかと思いますが、ベッド枠をYonaで購入すれば$189AUD（当時日本円で大体18,000円）で抑えられちゃいます…！
マットレス、掛け布団、枕、シーツ類はIKEAで買い揃えたので、10万円以下で揃えることができました。浮いた費用でレコードでも買いますかね！
正直なところ、耐久性や寝心地はどうなの？
というかそもそもダンボールベッドって耐久性とか寝心地とかどんな感じなのかなって思いますよね。実際にYonaのFAQsでもよくそういった質問を見かけます。

実際に使用してみて…
実際に購入から数ヶ月経ちましたが、私たちも問題なく使用してます！ダンボールも綺麗なままだし、マットレス置いちゃえば寝心地も変わらないし、ベッドボードもなくてシンプルで気に入ってます。ただ友人が遊びに来るたびにびっくりされますが！話題になって楽しいです。

日本語訳入れてもいいのですが、文章がとっても彼らを表現している気がしたのでそのままにしました。
引越しのたびに毎回ベッドを運ぶのが一番大変で、壁に穴をあけてしまったりしたよう…この経験をきっかけにダンボールベッドが開発されたらしい。
多分期間的には2021年くらいから販売されてるので、スタートアップですね！

こういうスモールビジネスという名の若い起業家？は結構オーストラリアでは多いようで、街中でもこういったスタートアップ企業やスモールビジネスやローカルビジネスをサポートしよう！というサインをよく見かけます。
日本まで発送してくれるのかは実際に問い合わせしてみないとわからないのですが、是非ベッドフレームでお悩みの方がいればご参考になれば嬉しいです。

つぶやき
余談ですが、日本も避難所とかでダンボールベッドを使ってたりしますよね。コラボとか意見交換会とかあれば楽しそうだな、とかちょっと関係ないことも思ったりします。
結構オーストラリアにいると日本のこういうところがあったらいいのに。とか、逆も然りよく考えます。郵便物や宅配物がすぐ届かなかったり、日本の暮らしと比べてしまうと不便だなと感じることも多々あるければ、不便の中で楽しいことを見つけて過ごせるようにしてます。
