We tend to mistakenly believe that we have earned what we have by our own strength and ability. But in reality, everything we have is given to us by God. It is important to remember to be grateful and to offer praise and thanksgiving devotion to God.

The word "first" means to offer God what is best. It expresses our readiness to put God first and to express our love for Him in the best possible way.
We can express our love for God by offering to God what we have, not only material things, but also our time, talents, and abilities.

The words, "Then your storehouse will be full and overflowing, and your winepresses will overflow with new wine." promises that by offering our devotion to God, we will receive abundant blessings from God.
God is pleased that we offer our devotion with gratitude. And for that devotion, He gives us abundant blessings beyond our imagination.
I pray that I will never forget to be thankful, and that I will live a life of practicing love as a testimony of my devotion to God.
