日々の生活の中で、どうしたらいいか分からなくて途方に暮れるとき、出口が見えない真っ暗なトンネルの中にいるようだと思うことが多々ありました。

実は今も一時的にそんな場所にいるように感じるときもありますが、そんな真っ暗なトンネルから結構長い間抜けられずにいたことがありました。

真っ暗なトンネルで無力に感じているとき、ずぅ～っと向こうに光っては消える蛍の光のように一瞬だけチカッと光るものをみたことを想像してみてください。

それが聖書の御言葉の持つパワーの一つなのですね。

先の見えない真っ暗な場所で「あの方向に進んだらいいよ」と示してくれるもの。時によって、それはほんの僅かの光かもしれないし、百万ワットの光であるときもあると思います。

どんなに暗闇にいても、自分の足元を照らしてくれ、行く方向を示してくれるという希望を御言葉に見つけることができます。

「お先真っ暗」という表現がありますが、御言葉がある限り、神様のパワーが共に存在しているため、神を信じる者には、お先真っ暗ということは当てはまらないのですね。

There were so many times I felt like being in a pitch black tunnel where there is no exit. I’ve felt lost like this many times in the past.

To be honest, I still feel like I’m in a tunnel sometimes, but it's temporary and I haven't felt like I was trapped in there in a while.

Imagine yourself being in a tunnel like that and all of a sudden, you see a faint light turning on and off just like the light from fireflies.

That’s one of the powers the Word in the Bible has.

The light is to tell you “Go that way.” It might be faint or as bright as one-million watt, depending on the situation.

However, regardless of the darkness of the tunnel you are in, there is hope in the Scripture to find the light that is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path.

In Japanese, there is a saying, "Osaki Makkura.} (meaning “There is no hope in the future.”), but since God’s power is in the Scripture, when you believe in it, this saying shouldn’t apply to you.

If you feel like you have been in the dark tunnel and are trapped, why not find the light in the Scripture that will guide you like the light of the lamp .
