A social enterprise is a for-profit organization with the goal of making a positive social impact. Social enterprises include "non-profit organizations" or "registered charities" that run revenue-generating businesses, as well as organizations that run "for-profit" businesses with a social goal.
社会的企業とは、社会に良い影響を与えることを目的とした営利組織のことです。社会的企業には、収益事業を行う「非営利組織」や「登録慈善団体」、社会的な目標を掲げて「営利事業」を行う組織などがあります。
There are two common forms of for-profit social enterprise, one is to hire people in need and give them proper training so they have the skills and the means to generate income.
営利目的の社会的企業には、2つの形態があります。1つは、困っている人を雇い、適切なトレーニングを受けさせて、スキルと収入を得る手段を持たせるものです。
