どうも、けこぜろです。

ここ数日Bring Me The Horizonに対する情熱が復活しつつあります。
聴き始めたのは1年くらい前ですが、改めて聴いてもいいですね。
幼少期からずっと好きだった浜田省吾に続いて、胸を張って好きだと言える音楽に出会えました。

昨日はアルバム『That's the Spirit』から『Drown』について紹介しました。

このアルバムは本当に完成度が高くて、個人的にはBring Me The Horizonのアルバムの中で1番好きです。
昨年もよく聴いていました。

ということで、今回もBring Me The Horizonのアルバム『That's the Spirit』から『Doomed』について。
アルバム1曲目の楽曲です。

Bring Me The Horizon『Doomed』

『Doomed』は不穏なメロディに疾走感のあるボーカル、叫ぶようなサビが印象的です。
まさにタイトルがこの曲の全てを物語っています。
上記のオーケストラライブ版が最高です。

初めて聴いた時はよく分かりませんでした。
アルバム1曲目ということで、この『Doomed』から『That's the Spirit』が始まります。
3曲目には1番好きな『Throne』が流れますし、中盤以降に後日紹介するロックな『Avalanche』、昨日紹介した『Drown』と続きます。

アルバムの開幕からこんな不安にさせるイントロはいかがなものかと思っていました。
ですが、何度か聴いている内にイメージが一新されました。
めちゃくちゃかっこいいです。
サビの前の一瞬の静けさが最高ですね。
爆発するように叫び上げるサビも最高ですし、緩急のある感じが堪りません。
これぞ魂を揺さぶる音楽ですね。
ライブパフォーマンスも本当に素晴らしいですし、今では大好きな曲となりました。
