今回は2019年に発売された、Bustedの4枚目のアルバム『Half Way There』より『Reunion』について。

Busted『Reunion』

『Reunion』はアルバム『Half Way There』の2曲目。
このアルバムは再結成後にリリースされた『Night Driver』以来となるものでした。
前作の『Night Driver』が様々な音楽性を取り入れた、割と挑戦的なアルバムだったのですが、今作『Half Way There』は従来のBustedらしいロックな曲が多いアルバムでした。
一緒にBustedにハマった弟からはこのアルバムの方が好きだと言っていましたね。
個人的にはどちらも好きだったのですが、新しい音楽の方向性を見せてくれた『Night Driver』の方が結構好きな感じでしたね。

ですが、『Half Way There』も聴き込む内にいいなと思える楽曲がわかってきて、1番最初に好きになったのがこの『Reunion』でした。
疾走感あふれるロックな楽曲となっており、僕としてはこういったサウンドの音楽は大好物ですね。
また、曲名の『Reunion』も「再集結」を意味するので、再結成したBustedのことを表しているようでまたいいんですよね。

こんな感じで、Bustedの『Reunion』の紹介でした。
こういう曲調のロックは本当に大好きです。
『Reunion』が収録されている『Half Way There』は初めはいい印象がなかったのですが、今ではかなり好きなアルバムですね。
