Agree or disagree: Industrialization has had an overall beneficial effect on humankind

It cannot be said that industrialization has had positive effects on human beings because it brings about environmental degradation, worsening human relationships and loss of living things.

One notable reason to corroborate my stance is that industrialization leads to environmental disasters. In modern society, the rapid emergence of new technology to improve public transportation and basic infrustrucure has made it possible for us to make our lives far more comfortable. Despite this evident asset, this development can be attributable to global warming and degrading quality of land, thereby inflicting devastating impacts on our society.

Furthermore, we cannot ignore the fact that industrialization has the potential to hamper our abilities to create amicable relationships with each other. For instance, some countries across the globe strive to develop their prosperity through the use of commodities like attractive buildings. As a negative consequence, such a commercial advancement encourages countries to impose economic sanctions on other counterparts in order to flaunt their economic or social advantages. Therefore, this approach drives a wedge between countries and aggravates their relationships.

It is often the case that industrialization fosters a loss of natural diversity. There is every possibility that industrial progress sacrifices various types of species. The reckless behaviour of developed nations to destroy wildlife habitats exemplifies the truth that ideal environment in which animals can live has been decreasing. Although creating factories and facilities surely plays a pivotal role in greatly bettering the quality of our lives, it must be an inescapable fact that animals are being jeopardized on a regular basis.

In summary, these three reasons I mentioned in this essay reinforce my stance that industrialization does not always have beneficial effects on humankind.
