東京サントリーサンゴリアス　60 - 46　東芝ブレイブルーパス東京

ボールがよく動き、点数を取り合う、見ていて面白い試合だった。
両チームともブレイクダウンが整備されており激しい攻防が見られたが、サントリーがブレイクダウンを優勢に進めていた。
また、サントリーは敵陣でのペナルティではPGで着実に加点していた。

両チームに対して感じたのは下記の４点であった。

[共通点]

・SHがテンポの速さを作りだす

両チームのSHともテンポを上げながらも前が見えており、９シェイプ時にはゲインを切れそうな味方プレーヤーを見極めてボールを供給していた。
特に東芝のSHは空きあらばサイドアタックを仕掛けてゲインラインを突破していた。
SOへパスする際も持ち出す素振りを見せることで、ピラーとポストの出足をワンテンポ遅らせていた。

[相違点]

①ディフェンス時のブレイクダウン

サントリー：
タックラー（特にアシストタックラー）が寝ないでボールキャリアにプレッシャーをかけることで、球出しを遅らせることと東芝のブレイクダウンに人数をかけさせていた。
東芝：
タックルが追いタックル（受けたタックル）気味になっており、サントリーのブレイクダウンに対してのプレッシャーがやや弱くなっていた。

②ターンオーバーからの展開

サントリー：
前半はターンオーバーした地点から逆のエッジへボールを運んで相手を走らせていた。後半は交代してフレッシュな選手でクラッシュしゲインラインを突破していた。
ターンオーバー時にすることをチームメンバー間で意思統一できていたように見えた。
東芝：
ターンオーバーした地点の近場をエグろうとしていたが、サントリーのDFを乱すまでは行っていなかった。

③SO

サントリー：
10番と15番が意図的にポジションを替えアタックを行っていた。
特に後半は12番もSOの位置に入ることがあり、DF側が的を絞りにくくしていた。
東芝：
基本的には10番がSOに入り、不在時は12番がSOの位置に入っていた

Suntory 60 - 46 Toshiba

The game was enthusiastic because both teams moved the ball, and scored many times.
Even though both teams regulated their breakdowns and fought powerfully in them, Suntory had been dominance at them.
Suntory steadily scored PG when they had a chance of penalty in the attacking zone.

These are thoughts of the game as below.

[Similarity]

-Fast breakdown recycle speed caused by SH 

SHs of both teams speeded recycling breakdown up and looked surroundings of breakdowns, so that they supplied the ball to the player who would penetrate gain-line.
Especially SH of Toshiba attacked beside breakdown if he had a chance to penetrate, and actually he did.
Also, he delayed starting Suntory’s pillar and post defenders by showing behavior of taking the ball out even when he passed the ball to SO.

[Differences]

①Breakdowns at defense

Suntory:
Since tacklers (especially assist tacklers) could put pressure on ball carrier because they didn’t lay down after tackle, they delayed breakdown recycle speed of Toshiba and increased the number of Toshiba players in breakdown
Toshiba:
Because tacklers tended to have negative tackles, their pressure was not enough to beat breakdown.

②Turnovers

Suntory:
On the first half, they tended to bring the ball to the other side of edge from the point of turnover to make Toshiba players run.
On the second half, they let players who switched into the field from the second half crush to penetrate gain-line.
It seemed that not only ball carrier but also surrounding players could understand what they should do during the situation of turnover.
Toshiba:
Although they tended to penetrate nearby the point of turnover, they could not disturb Suntory defense.

③SO

Suntory:
#10 and #15 intentionally changed their position and attacked.
Especially on the second half, #12 also took a position of SO, and they made Toshiba defenders not to focus the target.
Toshiba:
Basically #10 took a position of SO. #12 took a position of SO in the case of #10 absence.
