Black psych cover No ,13 Demon fuzz - Past, present & future 2024年7月6日 Demon fuzz の1970年作Afreaka! に収録されているPast, psesent & future のカバーです。 先ず覆面ジャケで興味をそそりました。 Past,present and futureを聴いて1発で好きになりますよね。 DEMON FUZZは68年に英国植民地から移民7名により結成されモロッコの旅路にてサイケの洗礼を受けafroやacid rock,black hippie ,soul等の音楽性を混ぜ合わせたブラックバンドです。 最初白人バンドだと思ってたのでそのギャップにも驚きでした。 このpast,prsent and futureは中でもお気に入りです。 歪んだファズベースソロから始まり、たった2音だけの音数でスイングするドラムと突き進みます。 オルガンの演奏も素晴らしいです。 自分のJAMには絶対はまるだろうなと思いました。 Demon fuzz's 1970 work Afreaka! ITALIAN PROG COVER NO,12 BLUE PHANTOM distillation 2024年6月29日 1971年作DISTORTIONに収録されているDISTILLATIONという曲のカバーです。 アルバム全体を通して好きなアルバムで、アルバムのカバーも数パターン存在しています。この白い無機質なバージョンが特に好きですね。 アルバムの中でもこの曲は最もヘビーなFUZZサイケナンバーです。途中登場する高音域のサイケデリックな単音ギターフレーズも気に入ってます。どうやったらこういう音が出せるのか探ってみると意外とFUZZで高音域を弾くと近い音が出るんですね。さらにリバーブを目一杯かけて弾いてます。 一番やりたかったのはピック弾きの硬いベースで、 COVER NO、1でやってた硬質な質感の ベースを採用してます。あと何曲かやりたいと思ってたんですがSPIRITUALサイドの曲に傾倒してたのでなかなか出来ずにいました。 前回のZAM ROCKのNGOZI FAMILYの JAMはあまり出来が良くなかったので悔しいですが削除しました。 JAMの動画を撮るのも大変です。4、5時間かけて編集して、良いと数日気分もいいのですが、悪いと真逆ですし使った時間も無駄になります。 出来の悪いジャムはもう見たくも無くなります。 必死に良い部分を探してみるのですが、、、その時間もしんどいです。 This is my favorite album in its entirety, and there are several versions of the album cover. I wanted to do a few more songs, but I was leaning towards songs from the SPIRITUAL side, so I couldn't do them. The last JAM by ZAM ROCK's NGOZI FAMILY wasn't very good, so I deleted it, although I'm disappointed. Taking videos of JAM is also difficult. NO, 11 Sun ra / moon dance cover 2024年6月15日 SUN RAのMOON DANCEのカバーです。 前回やったRONNIE BOYKINSのカバーがイマイチ納得のいくものでは無かったので削除しました。 リベンジしようかなとおのったのですが、もう一回演奏してもダメだったので切り替えました。 ただこの曲のベースを弾いているのもRONNIE BOYKINSなので関連はしてます。 素晴らしいウッドベースリフです。 SUN RAの中でも最も好きな曲の一つです。 原曲はもっとドラムに迫力があってカッコいいです。 前半はオルガン後半はFUZZ。最後にちょろっとピアノのインプロビゼーションがあります。 やっと風邪が治りました。5日くらいひきづって超辛かったです。遅れた作業取り戻すのが辛いです。 動画演奏も10分に抑えて編集もパッとやれば2時間くらいでほぼ午前中で終わりました。 やれば出来たー。 #sunra #sunraarkestra #ronnieboykins

JAZZ PSYCH COVER JAM No, 10 TREVOR MCNAMARA - DIGGING COVER 2024年6月1日 TREVOR MCNAMARA DIGGING COVERです。 記念すべき10曲目のカバージャムはTREVOR MCNAMARAのDIGGINGです。 1971年リリース。録音は1969年と言われています。オーストラリア在住のアーティストで当時19歳でこのアルバムを作成しています。 この曲は1分満たないんですが、個人的にアルバムのハイライトの一つです。JACKIE THINGSという曲もオススメです。 DIGGINGは独特のもたったドラムとベース、FUZZ ギターが特徴でドラムはヒップホップみたいなインパクトがあります。 ひたすら同じリフを繰り返すところが逆に斬新です。当時こんなアプローチしてる人も少ないと思います。アンチテクニカルな素晴らしい楽曲です。 メロディーも良いのでギターのフレーズの一部とヴォーカルのメロディーをギターで弾いてます。それ以外はインプロビゼーションで5分強即興演奏してます。 長尺のギタープレイを演奏するコツみたいなのが今回で少し掴めたかもしれません。最終のバージョンに行き着くまでに何度かジャムしましたが、シンプルな楽曲ほど飽きないように 見せるのは難しいです。 あとファズというエフェクター自体が素晴らしい楽器でしっかり慎重に弾いてあげればそれだけでも良いJAMになります。後は音色の調整ですね。ハイエンドがブーストし過ぎるとちゃんと音が出ないので適度なイコライジングが必要です。 後半はMICRO KORGのオルガンが登場しますが今回はMICRO KORGに内蔵されているもう一つのバージョンも採用しています。いつもよりチープな音色です。オルガンの音はどんどんリスナーとして好きになってますね。late60s-early70sのサイケやジャズを聴くとオルガンやファズが入ってると反応します。 久々にLSDのイメージ画像が登場しますが自分はIm not LSDです。 ◇原曲が素晴らしいと 演奏が活きますね。 もしこの演奏がいいと思った方は自分では無く原曲を作った アーティストを讃えてください、 カバーする時は毎回必ず言うようにしますし作者の敬意を払ってプレイします。 If the original song is great performance will come alive. COVER JAM / JB & GREEN BORN AGAIN - TIME part 2 - 2024年5月14日 前回のカバーが個人的に納得いく内容ではなかったのでやり直しました。 基本投稿した動画は何回か見直すのですが、出来が良くないとイライラするし気になりますね、 今回のは特にそうです。 上手くいくなーと思っていたので余計にそう思いました。なんか良くないことも重なり再投稿せずにはいられなくなったんですよね。 幸い動画も良いものが撮れましたし（10分強の動画は1個ボツにしてます） 作業も今日は昼間良いペースで進んだので、早めに切り上げて動画編集に取り組むことができました。 前回投稿した動画を編集して投稿し直そうとも思いましたが、上手くいかなさそうだったのと、この曲はロングタイムで活きてくる曲なんすよね。 前回あんまりだなと思った方は今回頑張ったので是非見てもらいたいですね。 新しい服、新しいエフェクト新しい曲をと思って新しい事に挑戦するのはいいことですが、何回も繰り返し、慣れて良さをわかった上でやらないと上手くいきませんね。 今回のは良いと思います。 幾層にも積み重なる楽器が上手く呼応し息づかいをしてます。 FUZZに関してもドライブ加減が良い塩梅です。 前回とはプラスでヘビーファズサイケな瞬間も新境地です。 前回は歪みの量が足りなくて幾分しょぼかったです。ミスも多かったですし。 FUZZ+TREMOROも面白いですし後半ドラムにreverbを過剰にかけた結果ダビーな仕上がりになってます。 カットアップでインサートする画像も出来る限り新しいものを追加しました。 The previous cover wasn't something I was personally satisfied with, so I redid it. フランクザッパのBlack napkins カバーです。 1976年作。 ライブの映像は何回も見てます。 ザッパのカウントから始まりラフにギターを弾き初めて最後司会者が改めてザッパを紹介して終わるところまで全部いいすね。 曲はピアノとアップライトベースのリフレインが渋いです。ずっと循環して長時間プレイする自分のスタイルに合った曲です。 ギターのフレーズもいいのですがこの曲はアコースティックピアノが美しい曲です。何故かカバーシリーズはアコースィックメイン曲をやりがちです。でも上手くいってますね。 今回は良いドラムループが無かったので動画のように手打ちでサンプリングしてループを組みました。 色々仕事に向けてインプットしましたが、中々実践すると上手くいきませんね。 自分は人の2倍3倍頑張って人と同じくらいの事が出来ると思ってるので、改めて自分ってそうだったなぁと痛感しました。 一昨日は携帯見ながら街で呆然と立ち尽くしてましたねw なかなか辛い日が続きます。 土日休まなかったのと今日は天気も悪いという事で1日休みます。 出来てなかったジャムも、やっと出来ました。しばらくJAMはペースダウンするかもしれません。 本当はFreddie gibbsのHighのサンプリングネタI Get High - Pure Magic feat. Cover First impressions shamek farrah 2024年3月31日 First impressions shamek farrah の1974年作のカバーです。 カバーやるのは人の曲なんでフリースペースといえどやっぱ抵抗ありますね。 音楽的な勉強はカバーを通してやりますけど、もう投稿はやらないかもしれないです。でも一応数曲はやって後悔しようと思います。 この曲はピアノの怪しいリフレインがキモですが、抑えてるポジションが独特です。基本3音しか使ってなくてそれを3オクターブ順番に演奏しているっだけです。 前回のアクセルロッドのカバーもそうですが、押さえてる音数は少なくシンプルなのですが非常に記憶に残る美しいリフレインなんですね。 ドラムループはMulatu Astatke - Kasalefkut huhu 1972 原曲に近いテンポにまであげてます。 サムネイルは shamek farrah のアルバムから。 This is the cover of Shamek Farrah's 1974 work. 今回はカバーです。 尊敬するコンポーザーDAVID AXELRODのHUMAN ABSTRUCT。 カバーは人の曲なので本当に稀にしかやらずにいて、自分の中では厳しく禁じ手にしていたのですが、自分の作曲スキル向上の為やることにしました。特にリリースする予定もないし、こういうフリースペースなのでやっても良いかという思いもありです。 これはパクリだと思っていただいても結構です。これに関しては勉強です。このJAMに関しては自分の手柄では無いです。アクセルロッドのものです。 やって思ったのは作曲っていうのは本当に素晴らしいですね、素晴らしい曲の上でやるインプロビゼーションも素晴らしいです。 あと鍵盤。驚いたことに白鍵盤しか 使用していません。黒鍵盤使わずでも良い曲って作れるんですね。 使ってるノートやポジションを研究して自分もこんな曲が作れたら良いなと思います。 サムネイルはデビッドアクセルロッドの2nd Albumです。Human abstruct収録。 アクセルロッドの素晴らしいところは最初の3枚のアルバムが良いのですが、捨て曲がないところです。その前ねElectric prunesのアルバムも最高ですしプロデュースした曲も傑作が多いです。 バケモンっすね。 This time it's a cover. COVER SONG JAM J.B GREEN & BORN AGAIN - TIME 最初にこの曲を知ったのはカットケミストかDJ SHOADOWのMIX CDだったの思います。Product placement NOWAGAINのコンピで改めて1曲通して聞いて再度お気に入りになった感じですね。 この曲は歪んだエフェクトが映える曲です。 新しく買ったFUZZと今まで使ってたUNIVIBE、TREMORO、今回は少しですが珍しくディレイも使ってます。 ドラムはサンプラーに手打ちです。 スネアがクローズドリムショットなので 原曲より弱々しいです。 パーカッションにCANを叩いたパーカッションもオーバーダブさせてます。 後半は原曲には入ってないORGAN JAM です。 FUZZはまだ慣れないですね。 使いこなせてないのでもうちょい音色の調整が必要だと思います。導入して前との違いは出ましたが、前の偽FUZZの方がまだ使いやすいです。FUZZは元々乗りこなしにくいツールだということを身をもって体感しました。 Fuzzは面白いエフェクターです。 BOSSは中でも扱いやすい部類ですからね。他のだったらもっと大変なんでしょう。 I think I first heard this song on a mix CD by Cut Chemist or DJ SHOADOW. Part 1 前半のピアノパート。 今回でカバーは6曲目です。 ハービーハンコックの超名曲、Maiden voyage(処女航海)のカバーです。サムネイルは同名のアルバムです。 様々なアーティストがカバーしてます。 自分が好きなのはチャールズステファニーがプロデュースしたRamsey Lewisのカバーとブラックジャズレコーズのkellee patterson のバージョンですね。この2組のアレンジは原曲を超えてると思います。この2曲は良く聴きます。 インスタグラムで最近投稿したのでそっちで聴けるようになってます。 カバーも原曲を超えるっていうのが稀にあります。 ゼロイチを作った人がいなければカバーは生まれませんので発案者を讃えるべきなのですが、アレンジで原曲を超えることも凄いことですね。 ※ジャズとは関係ないですが、ジョンフルシャンテの歌声は本当に素晴らしく、ギターと歌だけで原曲を超えることが多々あります。 この曲はアコースティックピアノで2コードなので、自分の領域ですね。 このハービーのアルバムの参加メンバーはベースがRon carter ドラムはTony williamsです。 動画で登場するのはPaul chambersや Elvin Jonesもカットアップしてるので紛らわしいですがあくまでイメージです。 ドラムループは名前も知らないユーチューバーの練習動画みたいなのから勝手に拝借しました。BPM120 Ride cymbalとかで検索してなかなか良いの見つけるのは苦労しますね。 アップライトベース風のプレイも回数こなせてきt回数こなせてきてますね。 最近忙しいからペースは落ちますが、週1くらいで投稿できれば良いかなと思います。 ◇原曲が素晴らしいと 演奏が活きますね。 もしこの演奏がいいと思った方は自分では無く原曲を作ったアーティストを讃えてください、 カバーする時は毎回必ず言うようにしますし作者の敬意を払ってプレイします。 If the original song is great performance will come alive. 今回はベースを入れました。 ナチュラルに歪んだ硬質なやつです。 雰囲気変わりますね。 輪郭がハッキリしてリズムが強化されてます。 ベース音もいいと思うので、ギター弾かない瞬間がもっとあっても良いですね。 今日は休み。生活リズム変えたけどちょっとしんどいのでまた改善します。昨日は肩こりピークだったので銭湯行きました。休む時は休まないと。。 相変わらず休むの下手ですが。 なんとかストレッチとかしマッサージを取り入れて回復します。 曲作りに関して言うと、基本自分がこう言う曲が欲しいけど存在しないなと思った曲を自分が作れば良いと思います。新しい機材買わなくてもそうすることによって新しい作品は作られると思います。 自分は今まで吸収した音楽を、一人で全ての楽器を即興で演奏し自分の好きな色彩や音調子にコントロールした上でオーバーダブループさせます。 サムネイルは1980年Hardcore band Red C のベースtoni young 元ネタの画像かなり好きでお気に入りです。ハードコアパンクの画像の中で1、2を争う程クールな女性パンクフォトだと思います。 This time I added the base. It's a hard one with a natural distortion. The atmosphere will change. The outline is clear and the rhythm is strengthened. I think the bass sound is good too, so it would be nice to have more moments where the guitar isn't played. Today is a day off. I changed my lifestyle, but it's a bit tiring, so I'll try to improve it again. Yesterday I went to a public bath because my stiff shoulders were at their peak. I have to rest when it's time to rest. . I'm still bad at resting though. I manage to do some stretching and massage to recover. Lately, I've been listening to LUNGFISH in the rock genre. LUNGFISH's methodology can be summed up as a hardcore loop. They were doing this in the early 90's, which is way too early. There was also PIL in POST PUNK, but they were probably the first to loop POST HARDCORE. However, there are few songs that I personally like. Many of their songs are quite bright and light. There aren't many so-called dark, minor-toned songs. Sometimes there are only one or two songs on an album, so I listen to only dark side songs. I haven't picked it all up yet, so I'm hoping it'll be enough for one album, but it looks like it's going to be short. When it comes to songwriting, I basically think it's best to create a song that you want but don't think exists. I think you can create new works by doing so without having to buy new equipment. I take the music I've absorbed so far and improvise on all the instruments by myself, control the colors and tones to my liking, and then overdub loops. 再生久しぶりにスクリーミングした時の動画です
2024年1月18日 久しぶりにスクリーミングしました。 こっちサイドがなかなか腰が重くて、今までリスペクトしてきたバンドの音楽聴いては士気を高めてたんですけど、やる気なくてもギターもって叫べばなんとかなるもんですね。荒療治ですけどw こっちも前に進んでるんだなあと実感してやる気出てきました。 動画のエフェクトはストロボ風っすね。音楽によって使い分けすると中々様になるもんすね。 サムネイルは敬愛しているSTOOGESのギグです。 PEDAL EFFECTがおそらくFUZZとWAHのみという渋い男のセッティンングですね。 今日はプレイした後気持ちよかったです。叫んでますからそら発散なりますよね。この数分後ストレスはすぐに溜まってしまうのですが。 (」ﾟДﾟ) Arghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! I've been feeling a little nervous about this side of things, so I've been listening to music from bands that I've respected to boost my morale, but even if I don't have the motivation to do it, I can just pick up my guitar and scream. It's rough treatment lol I felt motivated and realized that we were also moving forward. The effect in the video is strobe-like.
