WSJ Minute Briefing - U.N. Inspectors to Visit Russian-Occupied Ukraine Nuclear Plant

A United Nations atomic energy inspection team is heading to Ukraine's Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant amid fears that fighting in the area has damaged power lines and caused fires at the facility that could lead to nuclear catastrophe. Russian forces that have occupied the plant, the largest in Europe, have stationed military equipment there. While Ukrainian workers continue to operate it at gunpoint, according to Ukrainian officials.

NAS　アルテミス計画を中継

NASA says the Artemis 1 lunar test mission is still on track to launch today but later than the initially planned start time, because of delays fueling up the rocket. The space agency is aiming at eventually putting astronauts on the moon for the first time since 1972. The test mission largely hinges on the space launch system. A-322-ft-tall rocket and the Orion spacecraft, which will carry crew members on future missions. You can follow live coverage of the launch on wsj.com.

ホンダとLG　EV用バッテリー工場建設へ

Honda and South Korea's LG energy say they plan to build an almost four and a half billion dollar electric vehicle battery factory in the US. The companies didn't specify where the factory would be located, but sources say it's planned for Ohio. It’s the latest in a string of joint ventures between automakers and EV battery suppliers as they seek to expand capacity.

Markets in Asia ended mostly lower, and European shares fell in early trading. And US stock futures declined indicating that Wall Street indexes were likely to open lower today and the wake of Friday's sell off.
