定義の確認

ポイント　目的語を必要とするか、しないか

自動詞：目的語を必要としない動詞　目的語を取る際は前置詞必要
他動詞：目的語を必要とする動詞　前置詞不要

・自動詞・他動詞の両方で使える動詞がある
・そもそも意味がわかっていなければ判断できず、使い方を目にしたことがわからなければわからない
・目的語を取っているのかいないのかが分かりにくい

見分ける方法

１基本他動詞が多い

出会う動詞の9割くらいが「他動詞」だと思ってもいい
英語で動詞に出会ったら、まずは「他動詞なのではないか？」と身構えて、目的語を探す癖を身に付けておこう。
