[Remote Support] 3D Scan Studio 'iris'
At 3D scan studio iris, we can broadcast the shooting process via Zoom or Google Meet, allowing for remote direction and checking through conversation.
3D Scan Studio work can be relayed
It's possible to relay the 3D scanning process from 3D scan studio iris to remote or overseas clients via platforms like Zoom. Smooth communication is possible using conversation microphones and speakers. Captured materials can be sent immediately via BOX or Google Chat.
Accurate posing instructions or precise facial expressions required for FACS can be smoothly directed remotely. Using the studio's stable optical line video conferencing system, high-quality and stable conversations are possible.
We can also relay to clients waiting in the Toho Studio green room or to separate rooms. *Please prepare a laptop for relaying by the production staff.
Captured images can be sent immediately via BOX, Slack, Google Chat, etc.
"Infrared Camera" for facial expression confirmation
At iris, to achieve high-quality cross-polarized shooting, we darken the studio during shooting. To capture facial expressions that match the intended performance in 3D scans, subtle direction and adjustment of expressions are very important.
To direct the intensity of expressions, lip movements, and eye direction in the dark environment, we often use an infrared camera for direction until just before the shutter is released.
This setup is especially essential for FACS recordings, where high-quality AU (Action Unit) expressions and 16K Diffuse (cross-polarized) images need to be captured simultaneously.
