②／⑤ 食べたくてたまらない／やはりそっちのほうへ
キッチンが居場所のララは、リカが何か料理するのを見ながら大きくなりました。それはそれはいつも美味しそうな匂いがします。Lara grew up in the kithcen, observing Rica cooking. It always smells fantastic.
出来上がった料理をリカが運ぶ時、まるで自分が今から御馳走を食べるかのように、ララは笑顔でついていきます。それを見て、リカはアレっと思います。Once it gets done, Lara follows Rica bringing the food to the table. Rica wonders with Lara looking so happy.
リカが食べ始めると、ララはしっかりとそれを見ています。リカは何だかちょっと可哀想な気持ちになります。Lara stares Rica eating. It makes Rica feel guilty as she is eating everything by herself.
「ララちゃん。今度生まれ変わったら、人間のシェフになって、好きなもの沢山作って食べ」リカはララにそう言いました。"Lara, in the next life you will be born as a human chef. You will cook and eat anything you like". Rica told Lara.
ララは大きくなるにつれて表情豊かになっていきました。クリストファーさんはララの眉毛の動き方が絶妙だと言います。Lara developed facial expressions while she grew up. Christopher was amused with the moment of Lara's eyebrows.
ある日、リカの友達で、犬が好きだけど犬を飼ったことはないセドリックが、テレビで見たことのある実験をしようと持ちかけました。彼は自分のTシャツに、いつも使っているオーデコロンを振りかけ、それをララの側に何日か置いておくようにと言いました。One day, Cedric, Rica's friend, proposed an experiement. He never had a dog but desperate to have one.
１週間後、セドリックはそのTシャツを着て、公園のベンチに座りました。「ララはきっと匂いに気がついて、僕のところへ来てくれるはず…」Cedric asked to leave his T-shirt sprayed with his perefume near Lara for a week. Then Cedric wore this T-shirt and sat on a bench in the park where Lara came along.
