短編映画制作日記 #7 「まさかのロケ地変更」 | Production Notes #7 "Unexpected Change of Location”

The script is finalized and we're about to start location scouting! Just as I was about to start location scouting, the production manager gave me a passionate presentation. The location was changed. I listened to him carefully and easily agreed. Naturally, the opinions of the local staff are important, and I always listen to the opinions of the staff whom I have trusted for many years. Above all, the most important thing for a short film is enthusiasm. Major changes are bought with enthusiasm. The screenwriter immediately agreed to the changes. It was starting to get fun. 脚本が決まりいよいよロケハンに突入！というタイミングでプロダクションマネージャーから熱いプレゼンをされる。なんとロケ地の変更。じっくりと話を聞いてあっさり承諾した。撮影とは様々なリスクが伴う、当然ながら地元スタッフの意見は重要。ましてや長年信頼しているスタッフ達の言うことは素直に聞くことにしている。何より短編映画というものに最も必要なものは熱意だ。大きな変更は熱意を買ったものだ。脚本家もすぐさま変更に応じた。楽しくなってきた。さて、役者は揃うのか！？　つづく
