【英語は話せない、けれど単身ヨーロッパへ。】

私、海外チャレンジしたいんだよね！


と相談すると、
まず、真っ先に言われる言葉 NO１  !!



『 え。さとみさ、英語、できたっけ？』

、、、。



『 うん！　出来ないよ！！！！！
　　(自身ありげに笑)  』


、、、、、！？！？



『 ええええええええ！！
それって大丈夫なの？！？！
だってひとりで渡航するんだよね？！』



『 うん、大丈夫！　なんとかなるでしょっ！！』


『  ？！？！？！！！ (正気？！)   』


単身ヨーロッパチャレンジする為に
私自身 まず、第一に不安だったのが言語。



もともと英語が得意だったのでは？と思われることがなぜか多いんだけど。

学生のころから真面目に勉強するも、
英語の成績はなかなか上がらず笑

どちらかというと
大学受験5科目の中でも英語が1番苦手だった、、


だからこそ、
周りの友人達も、マネージャーも、家族も
1番心配ポイントだったと思う。



『 みんな心配してくれてるけど
でも、なんとかなるだろう！
いまの時代、わりと優秀な翻訳アプリもあるしな！』


それで、
ほんとになんとかなっちゃったんです。笑
トラブルはたくさんあったけれど。


とにかく、伝えたい気持ちがあれば
文法がめちゃくちゃでも
単語だけでも
なんでも言いたいこと伝わるのよ、

ほんとに。



あと私がこだわってたポイント、

笑顔が素敵な人に頼る！
困ったら助けてもらう！！


笑顔が素敵な人に悪い人はいないと思っていて、万国共通で。


道に迷ったとき、
切符の買い方がわからないとき、
スーパーでオリーブオイルが見つからないとき、


魔法の言葉、

「 excuse me?? 」


これで大丈夫！
誰か助けてくれます！！笑


結果的に、英語が話せなくても
直感と熱意と笑顔で
3か月ヨーロッパサバイバルできました！！


もちろん、言葉を覚えたほうが
レストランでスムーズにオーダーできるし、
仕事でも役立つし、
友達とコミュニケーションはとれるし、
便利ツールなんだけど。


なくても、大した問題じゃない！！


そんなことより
ひとまず、うじうじ日本に居ても
夢の舞台は歩けないと思い
日本を飛び出してみることにしました。


そんな英語話せない私が、
どうやってフランス、イタリア、スペインのモデルエージェントと契約できたのか、、。

I want to challenge myself abroad!

When I talk to people about this, 
the first thing they say to me is.
The first thing they say is NO1 !!!

'Yeah!　I can't do it. ！！！！！ '

'Yeah, yeah, yeah!
Is that safe?
Because you're travelling alone!’



'Yeah, I'll be fine!　I can !!


'? (Are you out of your mind?)   '



To take on the challenge of Europe on my own.
For myself, the first thing I was worried about was the language.


Wasn't I always good at English? 
I don't know why people think that.


I've studied diligently since I was a student, but English grades didn't improve very much lol.


If anything...
I was the worst in English among the five subjects of the university entrance examination...



And the point I was sticking to.

Rely on people with nice smiles!
If I need help, I'll get help!!!


I believe that there are no bad people with a nice smile, universally.


That's why.
friends around me, my manager and my family.
I think it was the number one worry point.



'But... we'll manage!
There are some rather good translation apps nowadays!'


And so.
I really did manage. Laughs.
There were a lot of troubles, though.


Anyway, if you have a feeling you want to convey
Even if the grammar is a mess
Even if it's just words
I can convey what I want to say, even if it's just a few words.

Really.



And the point I was sticking to.

When you don't know how to buy a ticket, when
When you can't find olive oil in the supermarket

Someone will help you!


As a result, even if you don't speak English.
With intuition, enthusiasm and a smile
I could survive in Europe for three months!


Of course, it's better to learn a language
and I can order smoothly in a restaurant,
 I can be useful at work, 
I can communicate with my friends, I can
communicate with friends.

It's a useful tool.


It's not a big problem if I don't have it!


It doesn't matter!
For the time being, even if I stay in Japan for a while
I thought I couldn't walk on the stage of my dreams
I decided to leave Japan.


How did I manage to sign a contract with a modelling agency in France, Italy and Spain when I couldn't speak English?
