【Rod Wave】 Letter From Houston 和訳

　こんにちは。久々の投稿になりました。

　先日、Apple Music の Hip Hopのプレイリスト？ラジオ？を聴いていたところ、こちらの曲が流れてきました。Rod Wave の "Letter From Houston"です。どこか切ない曲調と彼の深みのある声に惹かれ、何度もリピートして聴き入ってしまいました。

　Rod Wave は1999年生まれの23歳。2016年に活動をはじめ、2019年にはファーストアルバムである"Ghetto Gospel"をリリース。翌年、2020年にはセカンドアルバム、"Pray 4 Love"をリリース。こちらのアルバムはBillboard 200で2位を獲得し、後にデラックスエディションが発表されるなどの人気を見せています。
　同年2020年に、XXL Freshman Cypherにも選出されており、ラップ界全体が注目する若手ラッパーの1人となっています。

　

　今回和訳するLetter From HoustonはPray 4 Love (Deluxe)に収録されている楽曲です。
