先日、The WeekndとAriana GrandeがDie For You(Remix)を発表しました。Die For YouはThe WeekndのアルバムStarboy(2016)の中に収録されている楽曲です。
また、今作はLove Me Harder(2014), off the table(2020), Save Your Tears Remix(2021)に続く、コラボ4作目となります。配信されてから数日経ってしまいましたが和訳をしていこうと思います。

今回アリアナが参加したことで曲に登場する女性の気持ちも新たに表現されています。（オリジナルでは男性視点のみだった）
曲の中では、互いの関係が終わりに近づいていることを互いに悟りながらも、心の底では離れられない、まだ相手のことを愛している。。どうしたらいいんだという葛藤？モヤモヤが見てとれると思います。
