New York Times Trap - Vietnam Version Ryan Foerster, Shoot the Lobster/Martos Gallery NY, 2014
2014年の年末、Rocky Shoreをスタートする前に私たちのチームはNYのギャラリー、Martos GalleryのギャラリストJose Martosからの依頼でMartos Galleryの若い人向けのスペース、Shoot the Lobsterのためにカナダ人のアーティストRyan Foersterのアートプロジェクトをベトナム ホーチミン市で実施しました。
新聞紙と鍋という日常生活における身近なオブジェクトをホーチミンのストリートベンダーに展示することで、ホーチミンの街を行き交う一般の人に向け、鍋＝食事といった人が生きていく上で欠くことができない日常のしぐさ（陰 Yin）と新聞が表す必ずしも生命体としての人間が生きていく上で必要不可欠でない場合もある情報や哲学（陽 Yang）との対比について提示するプロジェクト。
Martos GalleryのオーナーJose Martosはフランス出身で、美術評論家でキュレーターのBob NickasやVincent PecoilといったRocky Shoreのコンテクストに関連のある人々に繋がりのある人物。
Jose Martosと同様にフランス出身のギャラリーのオーナーの多くは積極的に機会を求めて海外展開している。NYのMartos Gallery近隣のエリア（ローワーイーストサイド）にギャラリーのあるZürcher Galleryや現在は香港が拠点のDe Sartheのオーナー、Pascal de Sartheほか、多くのアートディーラーがフランス国外でビジネスをしています。

Jose Martosのobserverの記事（以下↓）にあるような姿勢を個人的にとっても尊敬しています。
“I had a group of friends there, they were artists, and because I have a lack of education, they think maybe I was like an ignorant,” said Mr. Martos. He was sitting in his gallery office sipping Earl Grey tea. “They kind of excluded me. ‘If you don’t have the base, the education, if you don’t know your history—who’s Poussin, van Gogh, Picasso—forget it. You will never make it. You will never succeed. You will never be able to develop your brain good enough to be different and to be involved in that super-privileged art world.’ And I said ‘fuck it.’ They pissed me off enough and I decided to open a gallery, just to show them.”
