“Moon River / Henry Mancini” Teppei Kawakami & Yoshiyuki Yatsuhashi Play

2020, the day of the harvest moon. Out of the blue, the trumpet player Teppei Kawakami sent me a track with his rendition of “Moon River,” so I played my classical gut-string guitar along to it. The photo was taken of the moon that night at the same time. The night skies truly looked like the bottom of the river.

2020年、中秋の名月の日。突然トランペットの川上鉄平が「ムーンリバー」を吹いたと送りつけてきたので、伴奏をガット・ギターで弾いた。写真は同じ時刻に撮ったその日の月。本当に水の底のような夜空だった。
