日差しはすっかり春！ですが、まだまだ寒い日も。気温も気持ちも浮いたり沈んだりしながら、前へ〜〜

I decided not to do anything related to work today. I went to the hospital to pay for the covid test (it was expensive), made an appointment of changing tires, filled the gas, went to soraniwa-san to buy some sweets (dropped by a grocery shop), had lunch, went for a walk for about an hour, and had coffee break.. are what I did so far. Good job. Also, I usually watch any TV show an episode a day, but I indulge myself in the Formula One show on Netflix. There’re some more series to catch up and it’s fun, but at the same time I want to follow what’s happening this year and I don’t want to do it before I catch up the latest season, which is about the Grand Prix last year (I’m in 2019 by the way).

Prep day for the event tomorrow. I’m happy that we were able to get it done quite well. Another happy day with some happy news and lots of laughter. What a grateful thing that most of the days I just feel what could I have asked for more.

It was a busy day working at an event that käsi joins in the morning and a class in the afternoon, but had a good time seeing nice people and being in the happy atmosphere of the event. One thing I messed up was the clothes I chose.. I assumed it was going to be sunny and warm, but it didn’t get that warm outside under the shade..

I’m disappointed at myself having missed writing diary two days in a row! Maybe what makes it difficult is that I try to write in the evening, when the day is ending, to write what happened on that day. So I’m writing this before noon!

I just had a class with a 13-year-old boy. The progress he made compared with the last two weeks is amazing. He’s been struggling building his confidence, and I’m sure there’re some words that he doesn’t remember and things, but he remembers basic rules of English very well and he should be proud of it. We decide to try the record shop in Kyoto that was closed when we went in January. We had lunch at a yoshoku place, went to the record shop, went to a café I liked and did some shopping at Kyoto station. I’m glad we had a good time together even though we had to wait in a line for more than 30 minutes, and walk in rain and wind. But I need to be careful when I want to go to a place where many tourists (especially white people) are.
