親戚から譲り受けたコウモリランを育てていた時に描いた絵です。
　
私の祖父母の家は造園業をやっていて玄関に大きなコウモリランがありました。
子供の頃、夏休みには霧吹きで水をあげたりしていました。
　
コウモリランは珍しいそのフォルムがとても印象的で、植物だけど何処か動物の様な不思議さがあり心惹かれます。
　
このコウモリランは今は実家の庭に移動してもっと大きくなっています。
また成長した姿も描きたいと思います。
　
　
I drew this painting when I was growing a staghorn fern that was given to me by a relative.
　
My grandparents' was a landscaping business, and they had a large staghorn fern at the entrance.
When I was a child, I used to water it with a mist sprayer during summer vacation.
　
A staghorn fern unusual form is very impressive, and although it is a plant, it has a mysterious animal-like quality that attracts me.
　
This staghorn fern has now been moved to my parents' garden and is getting bigger.
I would like to draw it again when it a grown-up figure.
