映画「THE LIMIT OF SLEEPING BEAUTY」(二宮健/2017年)より
死んだ人は死んだまま止まっているのに、生きている人は全て飲みこんで抱えて一歩一歩生きていかないといけない、、その上で"それでも世界は素晴らしい"のかな。
“曲からインスピレーション受ける”といつかのインタビューで監督が話していた言葉があったけど、歌詞見たらアキとシンクロしすぎてて、納得。
(個人的にはカイトがアキに渡したCDを発売してほしい..監督のipodだけに入っているとかずるい...!!)

(*)how I crumble at your feetのところで”彼の足元で僕が膝から崩れ落ちてる”、そんなイメージを持ったけれど、crumbleに「がっかりする」「(希望が)消失する」という意味もあるようで...それにcrumbleという単語自体が持つボロボロ崩れていくという響き?語感?を大事にしたいと思った結果↓
僕が君の足元で希望を失ってどんなにボロボロになっているかも知らないんだ
という少し強気な訳になりましたとさ
