Reiwa Roman showed off the material in the first round. This is the first time in 22 years that a top batter has won the championship, since the first M-1 champion, the Nakagawa family, in 2001.

Today, December 24th, Reiwa Roman won the Japan Manzai Championship "M-1 Grand Prix 2023" (ABC TV/TV Asahi). He received the title of the 19th champion and a prize of 10 million yen.
