あらすじ・ストーリー 小学校の卒業と同時に離ればなれになった貴樹と明里。ふたりは互いに特別な想いを抱いていたが、時間だけが淡々とすぎていった。そんなある日、大雪が降る中、ついに貴樹は明里に会いにいく決心をする。(「桜花抄」)
Synopsis/Story Takaki and Akari become separated at the same time they graduate from elementary school. The two had special feelings for each other, but time passed by indifferently. One day, while it's snowing heavily, Takaki finally decides to go see Akari. ("Oukasho")


解説 自主制作というべき少人数で驚くべきクオリティのアニメを作り続ける作家、新海誠監督の待望の新作。前作の長編『雲のむこう、約束の場所』とは違い、ある少年の人生を軸に3本の独立した連作短編として構成。日常ドラマを中心にしたラブ・ストーリーが語られる。主題歌には山崎まさよし『One more time,One more chance』が使用されることも話題だ。
