「「ent」はホリエアツシのソロプロジェクト。
1998年にオリジナルバンド・ストレイテナーを始動。90年代UKロック、2000年代USインディーロックの影響をうけつつも、独自の音を鳴らす楽曲性とライブパフォーマンスが高い評価を得る。ボーカル、ギター、キーボード、殆どの曲のソングライティングを担当。
バンド活動の傍ら、エレクトロニカやポストロック、ローファイポップなどの幅広いサウンドに感化され、また海外のインディーアーティスト達の音楽に向かう自由な姿勢やスタイルに共感し、entを始動。
エレクトロの精巧さとアコースティックの温もりを兼ね備えた、パーソナルでセンチメンタルなオルタナティブサウンドを鳴らす。
2009年2月、日本のインディーレーベルPrecoより1stアルバム“Welcome Stranger”をリリース。」
“'ent' is Atsushi Horie's solo project.
In 1998, he started the original band Straightener. Although influenced by 90's UK rock and 2000's US indie rock, they have received high praise for their unique musical style and live performances. Responsible for vocals, guitar, keyboards, and songwriting for most songs.
In addition to his band activities, he was inspired by a wide range of sounds such as electronica, post-rock, and lo-fi pop, and also sympathized with the free attitude and style of music of overseas indie artists, and started ENT.
He produces a personal and sentimental alternative sound that combines the sophistication of electro and the warmth of acoustic.
In February 2009, he released his first album “Welcome Stranger” from the Japanese indie label Preco. ”
