``Rien'' is pronounced ``Rien'' and refers to the world of Kabuki.

origin

The origin of the word "Liyuan" is said to be in China. Its origins date back to 712 AD during the Tang Dynasty in China. There, entertainers gathered in the pear garden to hone their skills.

It is said that the emperor taught himself the art at Liyuan, and the comedians who were taught by the emperor were called ``Liyuan Emperor Disciples,'' and the word ``Liyuan'' can be said to have its origins in this story. Its original meaning was to refer to the entire ``theatrical world.''

So why did the world of Kabuki come to be called "Rien"?
