代替現実（SR）とは何なのでしょうか？
聞きなれない言葉かもしれませんが、SFや映画の世界では、よく使用されてきたテーマですので、内容的には知っているという方も多いと思われます。
有名な映画では、「マトリックス」や「インセプション」、「トータルリコール」などのテーマとして使用されていました。人類が知らない間に仮想世界で暮らしていて、実はリアルな現実世界はほかにあったといった内容です。
今回はそんな代替現実（SR）をテーマに、VR（仮想現実）、AR（拡張現実）、MR（複合現実）、xRとの違いを含め、活用事例とともに解説します。
What is Alternate Reality (SR)?
It may be an unfamiliar word, but it is a theme often used in the world of science fiction and movies, so many people are likely familiar with the content.
It was used as a theme in famous movies such as ``The Matrix,'' ``Inception,'' and ``Total Recall.'' The story is about how humans are living in a virtual world without realizing it, and the real world actually exists somewhere else.
This time, with the theme of alternative reality (SR), we will explain the differences between VR (virtual reality), AR (augmented reality), MR (mixed reality), and xR, along with usage examples.
