わたしにとって、2020年は「激動の年」でした。

As for me, 2020 was a "turbulent year."

この年を忘れないため、わたしの記憶に残すため、2020年に起こったニュースを自由気ままに投稿していきます。

In order not to forget this year and to keep it in my memory, I will freely post the news that happened in 2020.

高輪ゲートウェイ駅が開業#2

「大きな窓とモダンな屋根のある美しい駅です」と駅長の中村多香さんは言いました。

”It’s a beautiful station with its big windows and modern roofing . " said stationmaster Taka Nakamura .

「品川の発展が進むにつれ、これらの窓から人々は街が変化するのを見ることができるでしょう。」

"As the development of Shinagawa continues , from these windows people will be able to see the city changing . "

駅のなめらかな杉の壁と巨大なガラスパネルは、建物の全体的な構造のコンセプトを作成する際に折り紙に触発されたと言われている有名な建築家、隈研吾によって設計されました。

The station's sleek cedar walls  and enormous glass panels were designed by famed architect Kengo Kuma , who is said to have been inspired by origami in creating the concept for the building's overall structure.
