①明日雨が降ったら、運動会は中止です。
A: If it will rain tomorrow, the sports day will be canceled. 
B: If it rains tomorrow, we will cancel the sports day.
②運動会が中止になったら、代わりに文化祭をやります。
A: Given that the sports day will be canceled, we will have a cultural festival instead.
B: Considered that we cancel the sports day, we will have a cultural festival instead.

もし～ならば・・ If ~  ばかり使っていると・・
日本人の書く英文は小学生レベル・・と言われてしまいます。
今日は if  の代わりに使える言葉を学びましょう！
①でもその前に　if  のきまりはちゃんとわかっていますか？
※ if  の文では　will は使えません。
明日雨がふったら
If it will rain tomorrow, ✖   ➡  If it rains tomorrow,  〇
※ If it is going to rain tomorrow  〇
　 If it may rain tomorrow  〇
will が使えないだけで、be going to や他の助動詞 can, must , may などは使えます

② if  の代わりに使える言葉は結構ある・・(分詞構文)
与える系　Given, Provided, Granted 
Given that it will rain tomorrow, 
明日雨が降るという条件が与えられた場合・・　つまり「もし～ならば」
※原則過去分詞になります。　そして if ではないので　will を使います

考える系　Suppose, Supposing,  Considering, Thinking, Presuming
Supposing that it will rain tomorrow,
明日雨が降ると考えると・・つまり「もし～ならば」
※原則 ~ing 名なります。そして if ではないので  will を使います
