アプリのUXやUIは、あるいはそのビジネスの内部にある思想は国境を超えて、人々のためになるプロダクトを目指しています。しかしながら、実際に国境を超えて活躍をしているアプリというものはごく一部だったりします。そんなグローバルなようでローカルな一面を物、スマホアプリたちのインドの今を聞いてみました。ジャンルは似ていても、実際のアプリは知らないものばかり？かもしれません。

With the upsurge of affordable internet services, the zestful youth in India have taken a fantasy towards numerous apps on their smartphones. Industrial experts are of the opinion that Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) are going to become the next trend in 2020.

For instance, social gaming apps allow the exuberant youth to make friends, host voice parties, compete with each other etc. The social gaming craze has currently inhabited the eyes and brains of the youngsters like MPL Cricket, Real Cricket 14, Ludo King, Teen Patti, Teen Patti Gold, Teen Patti- Indian Poker, Indian Rummy, Parking frenzy, Dhoom 3: The Game, Car Run etc. Despite the verity that India is a traditional country, dating apps and matrimonial sites have become famous almost overnight. It is surprisingly opposed to the Indian culture yet we see numerous parents also encouraging the youth towards such apps.

Aisle, Truly Madly, Indian cupid: Indian dating app, Jeevansathi.com, Shaadi.com, Bharat matrimony, Quackquack, etc. are apps that help in matching people with their real-life crushes, to communicate with people or even marry if things work out!! 83% of marketers believe that the video viewership and video sharing is increasing multifold amongst the millennials.

Sharechat, Roposo, Hotstar, Voot, Game your video (for iPhone) Airtel Xstream, etc. are used widely. Music is inseparable from youngsters which leads to downloading apps like JioSaavn, Hungama Music, Gaana, Wynk music, Saregama and the like. The apps are especially popular for Bollywood music and Indian regional songs as the youth are immersed completely in them, some apps being downloadable as well as some allowing online streaming. The most popular singers on these apps are Shreya Ghoshal, Arijit Singh, Ankit Tiwari, Neha Kakkar, Armaan Malik, Sunidhi Chauhan, Atif Aslam, Sonu Nigam, Shaan, Honey Singh, etc.
