昨日聞いたものがこれまた良くて
今日はそちらから1つエピソードをシェアします♪

タイトルは
"A Quick And Easy Way to Figure Out What You Want To Do With Your Life"

「自分の本当にやりたいことを見つけるには」
ということで2つのエピソードが紹介されていました。

その中の1つは

銀行での仕事に飽き飽きして退屈な毎日を過ごす女性の話。
それを聞いている弟もうんざりし
彼女に投げかけたセリフがこちら👇

"Imagine that you just won the lottery. What would be the first thing you do?"
「宝くじが当たったら、一番最初にすることは？」

間髪入れずに彼女は
イタリアに引っ越す！と。

金銭的な問題もあり
ずっと言い訳をして
夢から目を背けていたけれど
この質問から彼女は夢に向かって突き進みます！

この夢に向かう時のエネルギーって
とても力強く
キラキラしている✨

聞いているだけでそのまぶしさが伝わってくるような
とても素敵なエピソードでした😍

これを聞いて私だったらなんて答えるかな？
と考えたら
パッとすぐに浮かんだのは
「アメリカにいるホストマザーに会いに行く✈」

ずっとあれこれ言い訳して
先延ばしにしているけど
ここで頭に浮かぶということは
やっぱりこれは心からやりたいこと💕

5年以内に絶対行く！
（今すぐじゃないんかい！？って言われそうですが😆）

そしてやりたいことを考えていたら
宝くじは関係ないけれども
頭に浮かんだことがもう1つ。

My Review of the Podcast
"Chicken Soup for the Soul: A Quick and Easy Way to Figure Out What You Want To Do With Your Life"

Amy, the host of the program, presented two episodes aiming to help listeners discover their true passions. In one episode, one woman voiced discontent with her job, prompting her brother, who was tired of hearing her complaints, to ask her the following question: "Imagine you won the lottery. What would be the first thing you do?" Although the question sounded familiar, it was thought-provoking, making me ponder my own response.

Without hesitation, my true desire was revealed - I want to visit my host mother in the US! It has lingered in my thoughts for years, and now, I feel there's no reason to delay. I know we need to save money and coordinate with everyone's schedule, but I am determined to make this trip within the next five years.

Another goal that I've set for myself is to publish a translation book.
Specifically, I aim to translate Japanese folktales into English, offering my interpretation along with existing enjoyable translations.

Reflecting on these passions provides an energizing perspective during the routine of busy days.
