紅　A little later

最近、少し暑さが和らいだかという気もしますが、まだまだ暑い日が続くようです。秋は来るのかという感じですが、きっと来るでしょう。来るはずですと信じて昨年の秋の紅葉の写真を見返していました。
東大阪市にある石切神社に行ってきました。正式名称は「石切劔箭神社」です。大阪では「石切さん」で通じると思います。
近鉄奈良線の石切駅から歩いて数分です。

It seems like the heat has eased a little lately, but it looks like the hot days are still going to continue. It feels like autumn is coming, but I'm sure it will come. I was looking back at photos of last fall's autumn leaves, believing that they were coming. I went to Ishikiri Shrine in Higashiosaka City. The official name is "Ishikiri Tsurugi Shrine". In Osaka, I think it is commonly known as ``Ishikiri-san.'' A few minutes walk from Ishikiri Station on the Kintetsu Nara Line.

石切大仏。結構大きい。

御百度参りが有名です。行った日もお参りをされている方が沢山おられました。
もう一つ有名なのが「祈り亀」です。

It is famous for its Hyakudo pilgrimage. There were many people visiting the shrine on the day I went. Another famous one is the "Prayer Turtle".

亀がいっぱい

自分に代わって祈り続けてくれるということです。

It means that they will continue to pray on your behalf.

どんな固いものでも切れるという剣と矢が御神体らしいですが、その辺りの歴史に関してはまだまだ勉強中で、語るほどのレベルに至っておりません。
なので、いくつか撮影した紅葉の写真を載せておきます。

Swords and arrows that can cut through any hard object are said to be sacred objects, but I'm still learning about the history of this area and haven't reached the level where I can talk about it. So, I will post some photos of the autumn leaves that I took.

今年も紅葉の時期にお参りに行こうと思っていますが、それまでにも行こうかなと計画中です。

I'm thinking of going to visit during the autumn leaves season again this year, but I'm also planning to go before then.
