What is Inokashira literary club?

This is a literary creation circle led by Louisa-charlotte Inokasirasika. Ever since the release of the VRChat world of Inokashira-kōen Station, I have visited the real Inokashira-kōen Station several times. It was during these visits that I discovered a snack called 'Inokashira Park Rusk'. This discovery led me to think of a story about Rusk-chan, a famous avatar in VRChat. Since then, I, being an elf, have been writing stories primarily about living near Inokashira-kōen Station and interacting with various people.

Rusk's Sweet Love Revives in Inokashira Park

This story begins with me meeting at Inokashira-kōen Station and becoming friends with a dragon goddess, who is worshipped in the pond's temple as Benzaiten. The tale starts as we share drinks at an izakaya near the station. I learned from the dragon goddess about a story where Rusk-chan and her childhood friend Haolan-kun end up arguing and breaking up after riding a boat in Inokashira Park. The original title of the story is 'Inokashira Koen no Rusk-chan wa Osatou to Oshio de Dekiteiru' (Rusk-chan of Inokashira Park is Made of Sugar and Salt), where 'Osatou' (sugar) among Japanese VRChatters refers to virtual romantic relationships, and 'Oshio' (salt) signifies their breakup. Additionally, there is a legend in Inokashira Park about the dragon goddess and a belief that Benzaiten becomes jealous of couples in the boats, leading to their separation. What happens to these two characters is for you to find out by reading the story.

This is a novel about an event in VRChat where people jumped into the Dotonbori canal to celebrate the Hanshin Tigers' championship victory this year. In VRChat, nearly 140 people participated in the jump, and it was even broadcast on television. The final scene, where they teleport to the Tamagawa Aqueduct in Inokashira Park, might remind some readers of a scene from a novel by Osamu Dazai.

「井の頭文芸部」とは？

るいざ・しゃーろっとによる文芸創作サークルです。評論系ではヨーシャという名前で「恢徳堂」という名前で出しています。井の頭公園駅のワールドがリリースされて以来、現実世界の井の頭公園駅を何度も訪れて「井の頭公園ラスク」というお菓子を見つけた結果、井の頭公園とVRChatで有名なアバターであるラスクちゃんの話を思い浮かべたのがきっかけです。それから、エルフである私が井の頭公園の駅の近くに住んで、いろいろな人たちと交流していく物語を主に書いています。

私の作品

私の作品を紹介いたします。なお、すべての作品はVR上では言ノ葉堂2号店というワールドで読むことができます。

まずは、代表作ともいえる『井の頭公園のエルフの物語』です。

この中の一つに『井の頭公園のラスクちゃんはお砂糖とお塩でできている』があります。これは、「井の頭公園ラスク」に砂糖と塩が含まれていたという話題に端を発します。VRChatの日本人の間では「お砂糖」はバーチャルなパートナーシップ、「お塩」はその破局を表します。この対比する2つの言葉を取り入れたのがきっかけです。

そして、日本で熱狂的なファンが多いことで有名な野球チーム、阪神タイガースの優勝を描いた小説がこちらです。阪神タイガースが優勝すると大阪の中心を流れる道頓堀という運河に飛び込む人が出てくるのですが、バーチャルな世界で飛び込むイベントが企画され、実際にテレビに取材されました。その時の話を元に脚色したのがこの小説になります。
